to TravelAid As in our name, we want to be a real "aid" to the traveller, and help him with books, maps and travel guides, plus lots of information about excursions. You can also make with us reservations for the boat trips through the Patagonian Fjords, get the Obligatory Insurance for Vehicles if travelling to Argentina or even rent a comfortable fully equipped apartment if you want to spend some days in Pucón on your own. We are waiting for you at our office in downtown Pucón, or we can answer your questions on-line from abroad. |

We have a wide selection of different kind of maps: road and topographic
ones, special for trekking, or even some meant as souvenir. We cover
all Chile and some areas in Argentina, especially National Parks,

our store we sell travel guides and other interesting books for
tourists about trekking, flora and fauna, Chilean native cultures,
etc., as well as beautiful photo books to take along as souvenir. |

Boat Trips: |

We give information and make reservations for the different boats that sail through the fjords from Puerto Montt southwards, until Puerto Natales or Tierra del Fuego; and also for the cruisers that visit the glaciers in the ice fields. Among others we work with Navimag, Cruce Andino (former Cruce de Lagos), Skorpios, Cruceros Australis, Catamaranes de Sur, etc. Since
we are a small agency, Travelaid provides you with quick, safe

Thanks
to its natural attractions, Pucón is one of the favorite
destinations within Chile for both national and international tourists.
Set at the shores of the Villarrica lake and at the foot of the

Pucón
is one of the main centers for adventure tourism in Chile with an
endless number of activities. We are specialized in hikes and trekkings,
for those who want an organized tour and also for people who prefer
to go on their own through the trails in forests, prairies and volcano
slopes. Besides, we have complete cartographic material of the area and can rent you GPS equipment charged with tracks and waypoitns for the excursion you want. rent apartments for 2 to 4 people, fully equipped, in the new building
Los Refugios, just off Pucón's downtown. With private and
safe parking place, doorman and swimmingpool, it is an excellent
option if you want to be more independent in your holidays and still
"feel like home". |
