Detailed description of the journey (Text Skorpios)

Day 1:
10:30 a.m. Start of boarding. 1:00 p.m. Departure from Skorpios terminal. Safety speech. 2:00 p.m. Lunch. Navigation through Almirante Montt Gulf. 4:30 p.m. Arrival at Caleta Juárez in Guardramiro Fjord and disembarkation in boats to see up closer a colony of elephant seals. 6:00 p.m. Set sail, crossing Angostura Kirke and the channels Morla Vicuña, Union, Collingwood and Sarmiento.

Day 2:
8:00 a.m. We continue sailing north through the Pitt Channel. On the port side is Chatam Island, and we enter Guillard Fjord at 10:00 a.m. Navigation inside the fjord to Guillard Glacier. 11:00 a.m. Landing at the glacier and walking around the place. 1:30 p.m. Lunch. 3:30 p.m. Disembarkation in boats for a tour of the glacier's channels. 5:00 p.m. Navigation to Sarratea Bay. 6:00 p.m. Disembark for a boat ride through the area (this excursion depends on the sunlight and weather conditions) 7:00 p.m. Return to the boat. 8:00 p.m. Dinner on board. 00:00 a.m. Set sail south on Pitt Channel.

Day 3:
08:00 a.m. Arrival at the Amalia Glacier. The vessel approaches the glacier. Panoramic view from the ship. 9:30 a.m. Landing on a nearby beach for a walk on the sand, flora and rocks, reaching a viewpoint from where we can appreciate this beautiful glacier. 11:30 a.m. Navigation begins towards El Brujo Glacier. 2:00 p.m. Arrival at El Brujo Glacier. If the weather and ice conditions allow it, passengers can disembark and contemplate this glacier from a nearby rock. 3:30 p.m. Set sail towards the spectacular Calvo Fjord. 5:10 p.m. Arrival at Calvo Fjord, where an excursion is done on the "Capitán Constantino" icebreaker, appropriate to navigate between the floating ice bergs. Visit the Fernando, Capitán Constantino and Alipio glaciers, among others. 8:00 p.m. Set sail for the "Fiordo de las Montañas".

Day 4:
09:00 a.m. Visiting the "Fiordo de las Montañas", where you can see four glaciers hanging from the Cordillera Sarmiento towards the sea, two of them being in our binnacle. 9:30 a.m. Visit the Alsina Glacier, disembarkation in our boats to explore this small bay and its amazing glacier, appreciating all its beauty and the enormous surrounding mountains. 10:30 a.m. Return to Skorpios III. We continue sailing through the "Fiordo de las Montañas" towards the Bernal Glacier. 11:15 a.m. Landing on the glacier. We start walking in a small native forest and follow a path that crosses a small lagoon of glacial water. We continue the walk over the front and side moraines, until reaching the glacier. Here, we will have the opportunity to touch the ice and see the retraction phase of a glacier that no longer reaches the sea. 12:45 p.m. The passengers return to the ship, which is stocking up with pure natural water from a cascade. This water is used on board for all services. 2:00 p.m. The Skorpios III continues to navigate the "Fiordo de las Montañas" and we will be able to see the Herman and Zamudio glaciers from the ship. 5:45 p.m. Crossing Angostura White. 9:00 p.m. Farewell party. Captain's dinner and dance. Navigation through Almirante Montt Gulf.

Day 5:
Arrival in Puerto Natales between 2:00 a.m and 7:00 a.m., depending on the wind conditions, to dock at the Skorpios Terminal. Between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Disembarkation of passengers. For those who have hired the service, bus transfer to the Punta Arenas airport (check rates).
End of ouf service.

Note: The program and schedules may change depending on weather conditions or force majeure. Also, disembarkations will depend on the authorization of the captain of the ship, who will evaluate the safety and ice conditions of each place.
